Welcome to Learn Sicilian, a mobile application developed by LingoLab Apps (“we,” “our,” “us”). By downloading, accessing, or using the Learn Sicilian app (“App”), you agree to comply with and be bound by the following Terms and Conditions (“Terms”). Please read these Terms carefully before using the App. If you do not agree with these Terms, do not use the App.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the App.
2. Use of the App
The App is intended for users who are at least 13 years old. By using the App, you represent and warrant that you are at least 13 years of age.
3. User Accounts
To use certain features of the App, you must create an account. When you create an account, you agree to provide accurate and complete information, including your name and email address, and to keep this information up-to-date.
4. Privacy
We value your privacy. Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information. By using the App, you consent to the collection and use of your information as outlined in our Privacy Policy.
5. Payments
The App may offer in-app purchases. Payments for in-app purchases are processed through the app store from which you downloaded the App (e.g., Apple App Store, Google Play Store). All billing and transaction processes are handled by the app store, and we do not have access to your payment information.
6. License
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes, subject to these Terms.
7. Prohibited Activities
You agree not to:
- Use the App for any illegal or unauthorized purpose.
- Interfere with or disrupt the operation of the App.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the App or any related systems or networks.
- Use the App to transmit any harmful, offensive, or illegal content.
8. Intellectual Property
All content, features, and functionality of the App, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, and software, are the exclusive property of LingoLab Apps and are protected by intellectual property laws. You agree not to copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on the App.
9. Termination
We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access to the App, without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties, or for any other reason in our sole discretion.
10. Disclaimer of Warranties
The App is provided on an “as-is” and “as available” basis. We make no warranties, express or implied, regarding the operation or availability of the App or the information, content, materials, or products included therein. To the fullest extent permissible by applicable law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.
11. Limitation of Liability
In no event shall LingoLab Apps be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or in any way connected with the use of or inability to use the App, whether based on contract, tort, strict liability, or any other theory of liability, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
12. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of Victoria, Australia, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
13. Changes to These Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting the revised Terms within the App. Your continued use of the App following the posting of changes constitutes your acceptance of those changes.
